The WATT Hybrid Solar Air Conditioner is an advanced AC/DC solar-powered cooling solution designed to significantly reduce electricity consumption without compromising performance. It operates directly on solar power during the day and seamlessly switches to grid power when required, ensuring uninterrupted cooling with maximum energy efficiency.

This system requires no batteries, no inverter, and no charge controller, making it a cost-effective and low-maintenance solution for homes, offices, commercial buildings, and remote locations.

How It Works

During peak daytime hours, when cooling demand is highest, the unit can run partially or up to 100% on solar power using connected PV panels. At night or during low solar availability, it automatically balances AC and DC power to maintain stable operation while continuing to save energy.

The solar only opreation requires only solar panels on the DC input side. The connection of the solar panels must absolutely be in series and must be from 80V to 350V. This setup runs only when there is sun. During cloudy or rainy periods,s the unit can have a lower output. During the night, the unit won’t work.

SOLAR + GRID(HYBRID AIR CONDITIONER)

The hybrid installation requires only solar panels and a public electrical grid. The solar panels power the AC units during sunny periods and the grid fills in the gaps when needed. A minimum of 80V and a maximum of 350V of solar panels are required on the DC input side. The connection of the solar panels must absolutely be in series. On the AC side of the unit, the 110V/220Vac public electricity network must be connected. The grid will provide power during night.
